A Safe Loading Passport (SLP) is required for fuel tanker drivers who need to access fuel terminals for loading and unloading. The program was designed by the fuel industry to support the objective of excellence in tanker and driver compliance.
Driver Accreditation Training (DAT) is the process to gain the ‘drivers passport’. Drivers that participate in the DAT training, and enter member company facilities are required to undergo refresher training every 3 years.
Training begins with your accredited driver trainer, who will guide you through your learning objectives and outcomes using the Safe Load Program ‘workbook’. The workbook takes you through:
- Petroleum products
- Site safety
- Product transfer
- Static electricity
- Occupational Health and Safety
Completion of a theory assessment will demonstrate your knowledge.
Rojill Consulting will need you to provide us with a copy of your:
- Dangerous Goods Driver Licence
- Driver’s Licence (front and back)
- Passport Photo (verify your identity on the reverse of this photo)
